Generation 1: Chapter 1

Meet Jeannine Walters, formerly of Sunset Valley. Unmarried, childless, friendless, and jobless, she left the Valley after high school and didn't look back. She moved around a bit. A new place every day. But that didn't offer much by way of the things that mattered in life. So she cut her formerly very long hair, died the tips blue, and made a call. The call was to a Mr Johnny Johnson, the local band manager in Appaloosa Plains. Appaloosa was a small town - not unlike the Valley - but without all the people that made Jeannine leave home.

Jeannine made the arrangements online, and when she reached Appaloosa, she was already the owner of a house. She didn't make any move to explore the place, however - she'd seen all the pictures online - preferring to go meet her neighbors.

Just across the street, a man about her age was out checking his mail, and Jeannine went over to introduce herself to him. He said his name was Calvin Riffin. They began talking. Not about important things, really, just little things about their lives. Their middle names, their favourite colours, stories from their childhoods.

Afterwards, Jeannine wasn't sure what the joke was, but she was sure it wasn't as funny as they each made it out to be. Something about Calvin's job at the cemetery being deadbeat. Neither of them were really laughing at the joke, they were just each thinking about how good the other looked while laughing.

Soon they weren't even laughing, just looking at each other. On her wrist, Jeannine's watch beeped.

"I have to go," she said, though she made no move to leave. "I have a meeting soon. Need to get ready . . ."

"Yeah," he said. "Job interview. You mentioned it earlier."

For a while, neither moved. Just stayed there. The watch beeped again and Jeannine pulled away slowly, going to her new house across the street.

She really did have a job interview.

Jeannine's life quickly settled into a routine.

In the mornings, she would practice her guitar.

Then head over to Calvin's place. He lived with his little brother and sister, so Jeannine always made sure to go over after the school bus had left.

After all,

 their activities weren't exactly

kid friendly.

Then she would get changed - which was much easier when her clothes were already off - and go to work.

After work, Jeannine would go home, eat supper - usually salad, which was the only thing she knew how to make, but also her favourite, so it worked out - and go to bed.

Of course, nothing can stay the same forever.

Hello! Welcome to the Walters Random Legacy! This is my first time posting a legacy story, so I don't really have all the pictures that I need, including any of the house. Well, I do, but there's been some major reno done since Jeannine first moved in, so the pictures are rather spoiler-y.

My Gen 1 Role is:
Single Parent
3 Kids
Music (Classical)
Perfect Career
Fashion Diva

Jeannine's traits are: Good Sense of Humor, Genius, Virtuoso, Good, and Snob.
Calvin's traits (which can be Google'd, but whatever) are: Good Sense of Humor, Natural Cook, Good, Family Oriented, and Coward.

Thanks for reading!
